Airbag Light Flash Code (LFC) #19 question...
On my 09 F250 my airbag light flashes once, pause, 9 times for a error code of 19. Then it is supposed to stay on. Sometimes it stays on for a week or more. Sometimes it will randomly come on or randomly go off. There is no fixed sequence of the events. Sometimes I'll get the #19 code flashed 3 times but the airbag light doesn't stay on. Took it to the dealer and as I pulled into parking lot it went off. Service tech said he couldn't read a diagnostic code since light wasn't on. I thought there would be a history file stored? Code #19 is indication that the Restraint Control Module data is full I believe. However, it was full it should stay lit right? I'm beginning to wonder if there's a software issue or a ground issue? No problems with cruise control or horn. Anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss for why it happens so randomly. Service tech reseated all connectors under the seats but hasn't made any difference.
