CB Problems
I recently bought a Cobra CB on Ebay, I bought a magnetic antenna from RadioShack, I wired everything up, it comes on great, weatherband works great, but the CB part works intermittently, I've tried about everything I can think of, sometimes it will work perfectly sometimes I don't get any signals at all or it is muffled. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just wanna be sure that you dont have your squelch set improperly? Because you wont get anything but the strongest of signals when your squelch is turned up high.
If that isnt the problem, try a new antenna first before swapping to a different cb.

What model of cobra is it? Have you set your SWR? Like smokey said check your squelch setting, also your gain setting. I have found that most magnet mount antennas arent very good, unless you go with a good one like K40 or Wilson.

CB Problems
Does anyone know a good website to buy CD accessories? I need antenna or antenna's for a CB i want to install in an 01 F-150. Possibly mounting it off my toolbox or else where. let me know if you have any other ideas of where to mount it off of.
