I have purchased my very first diesel truck I bought a 2006 super crew cab dually Lariat with all the options and a new 6.0 diesel engine installed by Ford under warranty for 2 years unlimited miles. I have a farm this will come in handy I traded a F 150 with 371,000 miles in on it.

Since the engine new, come on down to our 6.0L forum so we can get you started on the correct maintenance program to keep that thing running great. We have a good number of guys getting up into the 300k range on stock motors (and one around 800k after a few rebuilds), so reputations aside it can be a great motor in a great truck if you take care of it, and we'll be glad to help you out any way we can.

yeah I wonder with it having the new engine did ford put all the up grades on it since the trouble they had with the 6.0
