Dad is that you? I feel like I've known you my whole life, even though we've never met.

Me? I never did like aggressive brakes, you can't lock them up anymore anyway.

OCD, right? Oh....I have this too. Sometimes.....Somehow......
Our rigs weight is about 7700lbs so I want the best brake power I can get, even more here in Germany on our Autobahn.
......but its up to each driver to set his own bench mark....

Now you are thinking, no autobahn here and my stock brakes stop my 8,000+- pound truck just fine. Yes OCD, and as a hint; it can be annoying.

No Brent.....Im thinking that you never drove a EX with a "premium all you can do" brake setup, so you cant know the dfference.
Because if you did this you wouldnt say anymore that your setup is braking fine.
Its a night and day difference under all conitions.
...and I think further that you suffer at the "little frog in the boiling water pot" syndrom.......

I took the one in the middle shelf.
No, I dont think theres a huge differences since they are all tested at special
analyses for getting approved. If yo get a DOT4 or DOT4+ with even a higher boiling point youre on the save side.

Frog in the hot water???????

Again; I don't want to stop faster, I don't tow, my brakes never fade, I don't care about fancy brakes, I like my brakes, the truck stops fine, there never was or is a problem..........

Thats why I love you so much, Brent.
I dont wanted to offend you....maybe a little teasing.
I got you already at the beginning.
The hotwaterfrog? If you set a frog in a pot with cold water and heat it up, the frog will stay in no matter what temperature until hes cooked, but if you throw
a frog in the same pot, while the the water is already boiling, he will jump out immediately.
Thats you. People like you sometimes even dont know how bad things work as long as they dont need the last point of performance due a situation or as long as everything works somehow without making some trouble.

My brakes on my Ex works fine aswell, but I was sure that there could be an huge improvement after installing some better stuff. So I did wait now over 2.5 years with these upgrades until my OEM Brakes were almost done.
.....and this difference between functional non squealing non fading old brakes to
my new setup was....well......Formula One to TinLizzy.
So, dont get mad, Brent....I repeat: Every EX Owner can set his own benchmark. In everything...not only breaks. I never would judge you or somebody else. Who am I that I could judge somebody like you, 4 Times older and 8 times more experience in drag racing. .
Friends again?

I never was offended, I'm just trying to figure out what a frog in hot water has to do with brakes. Nevermind, I see it.

Funny that I woke up this morning and went to remove the from that post but you already did it but I am wondering if you ever say anything to the people that slander the hec out of me like that guy you PM'd me about? Also, that post in the pm was already in there when you erased all his derogatory comments and before you warned us.

Welcome in my world....where I earn the most bucks but my wife owns each cent of it.
I told her that those "old" lines start getting porous and that this could be a huge problem in case if she need to break hard.....and I added sadly that the new
were way to expensive so I have to buy an aftermarket product.
Ok...I will go to hell for that, but...hey...I have my braided lines.

And the best:As she came back after she drove with the new breaks the first time, she told me proudly that she feel a difference and a huge improvement.
I answered that this came from the ballooning and porous old lines.
I get my kiss, a happy wife and new lines!!!
Yes, I should feel ashame....
