yea you have a leak somewhere, as he said check the lower corner on the driver side, that is where mine cracked. i could smell it but could not see it until i took mine on a 730 mile one day trip with a trailer and that was enough for me to see the coolent the next morning.

I've also been getting phantom wiffs of antifreeze here lately, I'll be checking that location, Darren, thanks for the pic!

the radiator is only covered for the 3year/36k whichever comes first. i was lucky that my dealer helped me out and was able to get Ford cover all parts and i paid the 300 or so for labor i was around 38 or 39k at the time. i will go out on a limb and say if you are smelling it there is definitely a leak somewhere. i will be giving it one more time then i will look into aftermarket system.<O</O

Just checked mine out after looking under the hood and seeing that my coolant is below the COLD Coolant fill line. Mine looks fine, but I will ask about it when I go in for my free first oil change.

No they just don't care. Make them replace them until they change their ways or go out of business.

Just had mine replaced only 2000 miles past warranty. There is a serious recurring common problem with these trucks.

radiators have been a problem since 2008. Poor design in the name of saving some weight but more than likely saving some money.

Ford knows about it (how could they not after seven model years), they simply have chosen not to design a fix.
The ESP premiumcare warranty is the way to defend against this poor design.

1.4mill km? You just never stopped driving

I should check mine for leaks. I'll be brining it into my bay tomorrow anyway so a good thing to look at.
