Yea the fuel bowl heater was already unplugged. I noticed something on another thread about the fuel filter being dark/black. Mine was looking pretty dark in color. It is over a few years old tho...

Warming my truck up before a test drive. Im scared to drive it because it idles then suddenly like drops rpms and shuts off. I took a video of it im going to try to upload it and link it for you. It starts back up after it shuts off.

Unplug your ICP again and try that. Being that it has oil in it I'd say it is on its way out if not out totally. Sounds like you had a couple of issues. One was the fuse and I bet the other is the ICP.

Tact i just checked again. I gave bad information. My Fuel bowl heater was NOT umplugged. I was looking at the wrong thing. While my truck was running and idling i touched the clip for the FB heater and as it wiggled my truck did it again and cut out. So this time i REMOVED the FB heater clip and test drove. I didnt have any problems yet driving about 10 mile trip. I am thinking that was the problem and caused my fuse to blow. So not its eliminated. If any other problems arise ill have to keep diagnosing.

I would like to get my truck checked with a scanner and see why that ICP is playing with my SES light like it is. It was on solid, i changed ICP and now it does that fuel pedal response coming on and going off... wierd to me. I need to find someone with a Snap on or AE thats not going to charge and arm and a leg just to check it out for me. Also wondering about my fuel filter being black/dark in color. YES its pretty old so that dosent help, but didnt know if it was getting oil on it at the same time.

I would like to thank you Tact, and everyone else for all of your help it means alot to me.

Hope you get it figured out. I would definitely get your ICP sensor changed, especially to OEM, and get it scanned. Might even get you CPS switched out to an OEM and use the one from Advanced for a back up. If those aren't your actual issues, they need to be addressed.

Thinking that you started having these problems right after a fueling, your problems might also be fuel related, like clogged filters in the tank. Do a search on this as some have stated that you can blow compressed air in the fuel lined back into the tank to blow the screens out.

Keep us posted.

Ill look into them. Im also going to look into this "hutch" mod. My CPS wasnt my problem i changed it for no reason in the end. I was actually back in the day about 2 years ago having a SERIOUS issuse with CPS's. I went through over 20 of them in a year. Took it to the dealership and they said one of my batteries was bad causing some type of failure to them. So i got that figured out. The one i took out is actually the new ford recall replacement one. Ill swap it back in and keep this BWD for a spare.

The ICP (factory from Riffraff Diesel) tho is new. Within a year so i dont know about that. Im going to have to get it scanned to see what that is. But right now i am looking at a DP Infinity. Which to my understanding with that i can code read and run tests myself.
