I am going to upload the pictures from Photobucket as I opened an account with the website.

Thanks again and thank you for all of the help you have given me on my threads and replies.

P. S. I saved this page so I can use it for future photographs. I forgot to inform you that my pictures are JPEG. Will it work?
Very common format that most people use, including me........

Yes, the vacuum line will originate at the vacuum tree on the intake manifold. You can cap the port there. Be sure to trace the line all the way back to the tree because there are a few other red vacuum lines at the plenum.

Hello and good evening.

Will the removal of the vacuum line cause any issues? The engine should be able to breathe a bit better because of the larger snorkel of the 4.9L. Would you agree?

Thank you for your help!

It will certainly breathe better. I have not had any cold-weather issues by removing the heat riser. Try it and see, you can always put it back if you experience any problems. Also make sure to cap off the unused vacuum port - it will be a vacuum leak if you don't.

Hello again.

That sounds good and this is the start of removing all unnecessary plumbing; air pump and all of the plumbing and installing an idler pulley.

Thank you for your help!
