NEED HELP! 2014 Electrical wire connection
I am attempting to put my rinning boards on my new 2014 F-350. I have running boards from my 2005 and the instructions have you making a connection to the wire under the threshold, that wire is a BLACK/LIGHT BLUE STRIPE. I cannot find that color wire on the 2014.
Can someone tell me which colored wire goes to the interior lighting that I can tap into!
There was a thread that said there was a connection under the truck near the back and I do not have it. So I need to make the connection like they did on the 05 which ran across the floor behind the console/htr area and down through the floor.
I don't want to go poking into every wire in the bundle to find this so I am hoping someone out there can tell me which wire color is the one that goes to the interior lighting!

Still looking for anyone who can tell me what color wire in a 2014 SD F-350 controls the interior lighting circuit. I went to the Ford dealer where I bought my truck and couldn't get an answer through the service writer. He supposedly with a tech and came back and said he would have to contact Ford and find out what wire to tap into. I won't hold my breath waiting till he calls!
The driver side threshold sill plate has a bundle of wires passing through it. I am hoping someone can tell me which one of these wires goes to the interior lighting.
Anyone?

I'll check that out and see if I can find a grey/violet wire. Only problem there is I have a bit of color blindness and may have to get the wife to check out the color,

Go buy a testlight that has the sharp end on it, and poke the wire and see if it works with the interior lights before you cut anything.
