We have one filming over in Big Stone Gap near here and they are looking for older vehicles (70s and earlier). Thought I might take a shot, but wasn't sure if I would have to leave the vehicle with them for days to use when they wished to film. How did it work with logistics?

Never hurts to ask them if they could use you for the day. I drove my truck into town and then back home same day. I would not have left it overnight if they had said they needed it. Good luck!
That is a awesome. Glad they called you.
I just sold a 57 that was in a movie with Kevin Bacon, and his wife. Should have gotten more money for the status of movie truck...haha!!
That's awsome! Did you get to drive it or did they? I would think that would add some extra value. Well at least there's braggin rights.

Beagle, I like your green truck with the black fenders. Can you post any pics of it?
Just curious....is that a 66/67 Beetle parked behind your truck?
Dan
Don't we have a bug expert around here? I can't remember who it is right now.
When I first saw it, I thought that no one would know how old that one was unless you really know your bugs.
I did a double take because the front bumper has a towel bar....I'm not sure but I thought that only showed up from around 64 to 67. Somebody will know!!
Don't know for sure what year the Beetle is, but worse yet it looks like a hot rod bug. Lowered, chrome wheels and fat tires...that didn't happen in the early 60's.
Cool, indeed. But isn't that a '63, '64 or '65 Ford fastback between the gold Chevy PU and the four door Chevy car? One way I see it, the headlights are horizontal and the other way, they appear vertical.
It's definitely a 64 Ford. And it looks like it's got hot rod fat tires on it, too. Those aren't period correct, and only came available in the very late 60's. Even race cars in '61 used skinny tires still.
