E250 Camper Floor Plan

E250 Camper Floor Plan
So I think I have too much time to think about stuff. I had been looking at vans that have been converted to campers. I went ahead and drew out a possible floor plan for my E250. It is to scale...1" equals 1ft. The box of my van behind the front seats is 6ft by 10ft. If I didn't want a shower it would give me a lot more room, but an extended road trip using truck stop/campsite showers seems unpleasant. I would add a pop-top for head room and an extra bed if needed. House batteries would be charges via solar panels, alternator or 120v plug in. So what do you think?

Cool! Go for it. There are some RV forums out there where people do tear downs and rebuilds. Good place to get some ideas or help. My mom had a 5th wheel with extensive water damage is how I came accross them. I diddn't do anything with hers so I don't remember which ones I went to. As far as charging the batteries you could probabably do all 3. I know you can do alt. and AC.
