Im getting ready to put duals on my 87 F250 4BBl 351 W and I'm stuck between getting 2" true duals with flowmasters, or 2" true duals with REAL glasspacks. I want a nice classic loud *** sound that cackles but I hear alot about the flowmasters too. Any suggestions?

I've got a single in/dual out Flowmaster 70 series on mine with no cat. It's loud when I want it to be and reasonably quiet inside the rest of the time. Glasspacks all sound like crap IMO. I had a Magnaflow on my Typhoon and it sounded great. Flowmasters WILL drone though, so be forewarned.

I love my Magnaflow muffler. It is exactly the sound I was looking for. There is a bit of a drone from 1600-2000 rpm, but it isn't too bad. Its about what I expected with my headers, high flow cat and all mandrel bent 3" pipe. It is a single pipe system though, not duals.

I had a single in double out Flowmaster Super 44 on my old 90 F150 and was disappointed. My new F250 has the stock converter with a cherry bomb glass pack and its nice and loud when you get down on it but not too loud that when running down the highway you can't here yourself think or listen to the radio.
