I heard that only refurb units are available for the computer. I did the same thing, replaced the caps (from computer modems and video cards) and repaired a corroded track. Not hard just be careful soldering and the polarity of the caps.

Ok so no updates really on this truck I have been barely driving her but she still is running great. Turns out the computer is fine the high idle is from my bad brake booster. I got another oil change on her coming up soon but I got to play with the mechanical gauge as it is leaking slightly in the cab. I do now have an original KO tire that I got for free that I need to mount on a matching wheel (have already) so that I have a spare.
Here is a recent pic of her with her big sister.

Well after pushing her off-road for so long a bit hard overtime, the other day when I drove her to work I started hearing a slight pop/squeak/whine noise from the suspension. Got under her yesterday and my radius arm bushings are completely gone I mean nothing there so tomorrow I am going to pick up regular rubber ones and install them Tuesday.
Only doing regular ones as I am undecided still if I want to upgrade the radius arms and slightly lift her still down the road.
Was reading that the high idle could be from the throttle blades wore out and if I remember correctly they slightly have a gap in them. I think that once I get the bronco engine built I am going to install a new BBK throttle body. First I am going to recheck the TPS range and IAC make sure I didn't good anything up.
Also checked mpg again at 11.3 she is getting better as she gets broke in. I still only have around 9000 miles on the new engine.

Haven't had the chance to install the radius arm bushings but I did attempt to mess with the TPS however need to do it again as when I did last time I broke the throttle cable. Put a new one on and alot better feel on the throttle just got to play with the TPS and bushings now. Been hard as I have been spending most of my free time on the bronco trying to get the engine ready before winter.
