Transmission tune?
hey guys, iv browesd through here looking for a solid answer and cant see to find one, the tranny in my truck went out about a week ago and im having a shop here in town build me up one and i was wondering what i needed to do to it it make sure it lasts, i have read that without a tune it might just tear up the new tranny, all i have done to the motor is a PHP hercules tune on the ficm, as soon as the tranny is replaced im taking it down and getting the EGR delete, oil pump replaced, and a new turbo, probably the garret powermax. where do i go to get a tune for the tranny and what should i expect/ do to make this last?
