I went with the Die Hard Platinums from Sears recently. I have no complaints, but if I could do it over I probably would've went Interstate. The Platinums are just too expensive and we've always had great luck with Interstates.
I'm on my 4th set of the most expensive Bosch batteries from Pep Boys in 6 years. They keep having to give them to me under warranty. They're garbage. Not once has a set lasted past the free replacement portion of the warranty, so I'll be getting free batteries for life, I guess. The first 3 sets were made by Johnson Controls (I believe). I haven't checked the manufacturer code on the set that's in there now.
Has anyone tried batteries from Sam's Club? I have forgotten the name on them, I bought one for my Wife's car recently--also looked at the ones for my truck......seemed to be a higher CA or CCA than the current 750s I'm running now....
Everything there was a 3 year free replacement..........
I would think Sam's Club and Wal-Mart would be the same battery (hopefully at a cheaper price through Sams) as they are the same company, one being the Member store as opposed to the freak show at wally world.

No, Not the same batteries, I'll check the name brand at Sam's next time I'm there......

Our local Sam's Club carries the Interstate batteries. Our company has a national account with Interstate and our route salesman told me that he could not warranty them for me. The Sam's Club ones were made specifically for their chain (black top vs green). I would have to return them to the Sam's Club. I had one with a leaking top and another with weak cells. I chose to change over to Duralast Golds. I had one go bad a few months ago and the Autozone manager approved the salesman to replace both batteries under the 3 year free replacement warranty.
