A few photos from Good Guys

Went to Good Guys today, great show and the busier than I have seen in a couple years. Lots of F-1s. I thought wife was taking pictures of them but turns out she was mostly taking details of ideas for her truck, so I don't have much but here are a few. The F-3 wrecker was for sale, 30K. Last one is a Monkey face with great patina a Coyote 5.0 and six speed.

When the show came through DFW, I only saw one Y-Block in an F100. I heard a couple in Thunderbirds.
I saw countless replacements of various flavors. It was a bit disheartening. Where's the love for the venerable Y-Block?

I would love to have that 5.0 setup in one of my trucks...just looking at that photo though I would have some concerns about knocking off that nice intake cover when the engine revved. Seems like it is very close to the firewall. Looks like a nice driver.

I was also at Goodguys yesterday, a lot of nice everything. The bad news is that I left the camera at the house so only got a few camera phone pictures. Walked around all day and only saw a portion of the show. I did see a GMC that had a set of side boards exactly like the ones that I want to build for the 48. To bad our trails didn't cross Mike.

Builder actually added a 4" extension to the rear of the stock cover so he could hide the engine computer under it.
