Door Seals

Has anyone used any of the peel and stick door seals instead of the original style you glue in?

I used the peel and stick stuff on Jon's 50 after we found that the original stuff didn't seal up tight and it worked like a champ, plus the doors close so nice now (no slamming to close).

I used a combination of both types. I used the form fitting original part on the inside part of the door at the hinges and used the hollow self adhesive stuff around the rest, worked and looks great. Bought the hollow material from "Hot Rod's Classic Truck Parts" and it was good quality material and sticks very well.

Don't have to slam the doors either.
