Back up sensor problem
Has anyone had problems with back up sensor beeping if nothing is behind you? Ours will starte beeping as soon as we put it in reverse even though there is nothing in the way. Kind of annoying. Problem is that this is a random occurrence. Probably happens every other time we put it in reverse. Any ideas as to the cause? The sensors do work properly and are clean

I don't think mine is from shadows...my garage and driveway are sunny and it doesn't make a difference if it's day or night when it happens

Do you keep your hitch ball on the truck? Mine sets off the sensors...sometimes (very intermittent). Not sure if it's heat related (more or less sensitive if they have been in the sun, etc.) or what, but it's not an 'always' kind of thing, and when it does go off, sometimes it's the steady beep like I'm 6" away or less, other times it's intermittent like I'm 12" or more away.
