Can any one help here?? I have a 1998 F150 Extended cab. I was wondering what would sound the best?? Should i leave the cats on or cut them out?? Also what exhaust would sound the best? I am open to all sugestions here!! I am looking at either flowmaster 40 series or just some cheap glass packs. Thanks
Leave the cats in place. You have OBD-II diagnostics which continually monitor cat function. If you remove them, aside from violating federal law, your PCM will throw all sorts of error codes andthe truck will probably run like crap.
been there done that and here i am 2day still not happy and still spending more dow on mufflers, if only i had just got tru duals and flowmasters 40 originals in the begining i could be spending this money on a new chip or something. in short do it right once!
and i think glass paks sound tight on chevy's.
