update ... just found out that staples office supplies is selling these in their stores (at least in the vancouver, b.c. area) . haven't checked it out and won't likely find time until after the holidays, but i found it interesting that an office supply company should have them while future shop/best buy don't even know what they are.

Staples also sells snacks like barrels of pretzels, M&M Peanuts etc etc---sometimes think I'm back in a Block Buster store!
The cameras might not have as much mark up potential for Best Buy etc---doesn't make sense since their USA locations have tons of car audio stuff.

There's some pretty cool units about to come to market, one has a DVR/GPS and more and it replaces your rear view mirror. I know the guy who is launching it. Not something I'm interested in but I can definitely see the potential in it! It's called App-tronics. I don't want to post link for fear of someone thinking I'm promoting the company, but you can look it up.
I had hopes up that "santa" was gonna bring me that e-prance DVR in a couple days but I have received "hints" that won't happen. If it doesn't I'll be purchasing one in a few weeks!
