I've just bought a 2008 6.4L F350 and I've noticed that when I'm at highway speeds and I let off the pedal to slow down for a turn, the truck starts to bounce then stops as the speed lowers. Any ideas what this could be?
Feels kinda like unbalanced tires which I know it is not.
Thanks
My 09350 SRW bounces a bit over concrete roads when I go over evenly spaces pavement joints. The problem is only there at highway speeds with no load or a light load.
You might be due for a set of shocks...
Is the bounce while braking or coasting or both? Is it only on decel?

It seems to happen when decelerating and applying the brakes. I had the brakes checked when I bought the truck. Could it be the tranny downshifting?
Thanks
Have you checked your rear driveshaft u-joints? Not exactly the same but had a good vibration during initial deceleration. At 90,000 mile u-joint at the differential was completely trashed.
