grade shift modification
I was wondering for the truck in my sig if it is possible to adjust how the tranny grade shifts. I feel like there is plenty of power left in 5th gear but the truck wants to jump to 4th every chance it gets. If I could stay in 5th longer or even 4th while towing I could get much better gas mileage.

The only way to do that is have someone write a custom tune for the transmission. No, I don't know anyone that can do that.

I figured it would be a custom tune. Why is this not something done more. I know a lot of people with 08 and newer trucks that complain about this. Some have diesels too.
