1998 conversion e150- 4.6 engine with c1095 code
I have inspected the wiring harness and found nothing peculiar.
What I did find, is the ABS module is a F7UA-2C346-AC and I cannot find this part anywhere on the internet. It does not match what OEM says it should have F8UZ-2C219-AA
It's made by Kelsey Hayes. it has 3 connections on it. It has a 20 pin connector from the wiring harness and another 2 blade connector from a harness. It also has one more 2 blade connection with wire going from ABS module to pump motor.
I have voltage power to the ABS module and also voltage power out of the ABS module to the pump motor.
Any Suggestions for additional testing?
Thanks Rusty
This, of course assuming you need a new ABS module. I have no working knowledge of that code or ABS module but have to think it could be an internal issue, one not easily user repairable.
Best of luck in hunting the solution to this!
I found one similar on ebay, The numbers did not match exactly however the ebay pictures matched exactly what I have in my van. I purchased it for $35 including shipping. I swapped it out, bled the system and it works perfectly!
No more braking problems with ABS kicking in as you nudge up one car length at a stop light. This was scary and nerve racking because the van would not stop. The only casualty I had was the grocery cart at Sam's Club that I sent flying over 3 rows. I received some weird looks by people in the lot
