Dual alternators?

It is an option that works well for high power demand use such as construction or ambulance service.
Due to low speeds but high output requirements.
I have never had the duals but I still get the snow plow and a high output alternator.

Maybe I could put some kind of inverter in my truck and get power?

I have the dual alternators on mine. I bought a large inverter and wired it up with a quick disconnect like my winch (front and rear hitches). I can put the inverter in the covered bed and run a bunch of stuff off it during a storm or whatever.
