Where is the MAP sensor located on a 1994 F-150 w/5.0 liter. The book says pass. side firewall above evaporator housing. Not there. Auto Zone says same place. I have looked this truck over and over. The hood vacuum diagram does not even show a MAP sensor being included.
That's where it should be. Is your truck MAF (a sensor at the air filter outlet)? I just looked at the vacuum maps I have, and they don't show a MAP either. Why are you trying to find it?
My truck looses power intermitently. It's like a switch, instantly loses power and instantly regains power, no missing or pining, it's a smooth loss of power.
I was told by friends it could be the MAP sensor.
Yes it does have a sensor at the air filter outlet.
