Rear Bumper Mounting on 52 F-1

Rear Bumper Mounting on 52 F-1
I have a stock 52 frame and new rear bumper.
Question, do the rear bumper mounting brackets both mount on the outside of the frame tails or split the frame with one on the inside and one on the outside on each side? I would guess the both go on the outside of the rails.
This has the distance from the top of the bumper to the top of the bed wood at about 8". Is this about correct?
I had a Hell of a time figuring out how the brackets installed and which frame holes to use.
Thanks,
Tractormanbill

Thanks Albq F-1 and it is just a LMC special.
I had nothing on the original when i started, brackets or bumper.
I spent about a month screwing with the brackets trying to put the frame between the brackets on each side which made it impossible to match up with the holes, get the bumper the correct height, etc.

It doesn't matter too much as long as you can get the bumper bolts to line up with the brackets. On my current truck both are mounted on the outside but on a previous truck I had to mount one inside and one outside to get the holes in the bumper to line up with the brackets. It throws the bumper off center a little but is hardly noticeable...
