Is This Safe?
6 ton jack stand underneath passenger side axle tube.

I will not be under the truck at all. And yes - I realize I run the risk of someone hitting the truck and knocking it off the jack stand.

I just need to support the truck overnight.

Will the axle tube bend?

It should be fine . I would like to see it as close to the spring as possible though .

I normally support it as far to the edge as possible and then once i drop the jack shake the truck a little to check.

If that's black top get a board under that jack stand. If concrete you're fine.

I do too, but due to being in a rush and poor planning, I put the jack there.
