Ok, I will get that tomorrow and also try to do the bubble test. I did have a previous misfire on cylinder 2 code pop up but have yet to see it a second time. Also will AE do the powerbank test or will I have to take it to a shop with the Ford software? I have a friend with AE if I can get with him at somepoint. I really love my truck when it runs but I have had a lot of issues with it since I first bought it a year ago. I hope I can afford to work out all the kinks in her.
Alright I know in dragging this out. I did the bubble test and miraculously no bubbles. So I decided to take a quick trip up the mountain everything running fine. Still a cold rough start. Drove it back down the mountain. No accelerator and just idling and the check engine and wrench lights both come on code reader gives P2286 icp voltage high. I cannot find an pid to check the icp voltage. Truck seems to run fine but I don't trust it. Any ideas now?
Ok. I unplugged the brand new icp sensor and my truck is behaving. Took it out for a spin and have no codes no wrench light. The only thing that's showing up is a pending code for icp voltage low which I assume is from having it unplugged.
I have reached out to where I bought the sensor from to see if they will do anything.
Pigtail looks fine all the contacts are clean and no oil from previous sensor.
The sensor is one I picked up off eBay;
Product description:
New Ford powerstroke 6.0 ICP sensor part# 184542428c92. Not in original box.
Just to Verify that the ICPV is in order, by looking at the connection don't really tell anything, my bad spot on the connection was under the grey clip that holds the three wires together it was white looking and didn't look burn't, like you would normaly see for shorting wires, and the pig tail is a lot cheeper than the senser
