Electronic Automatic Temp Control (EATC)
Ok. I know I'm getting crazy here but is there any chance I can put the EATC unit in my 2000 F150 XLT? I know some supercrews have it so it is possible. I know the wiring in back is different than the manual temp control ***** but I think there is a brain module in there somewhere to fix that. Anyone wondering about this or know what I need to purchase or look into. I also have a 97 EB Expedition and would really like to put it in that also. They didn't come out with the EATC until 99 in the Expeditions and from looking at the junkyard I found the inside temp sensor is under the dash cover along with the autolamp sensor so thats one prob solved. Its alot to change. From what I remember, the blend door motor is different along with its wiring, then there are a couple of temp sensors, and probably some of the actuators are different.
Its kinda like putting air ride on your Expy, it can be done because it came from the factory, but its very involved as so much is different.
