Gem Module problem?
I have a 2000 Taurus and its giving me a problem. The issue is when I turn on my car, the heater and radio will not work. When the car is off with the key in the ignition, the radio works and the fan turns on but I can not change the fan speed. I changed the alternater and replaced the battery and still have the same problem. I had a friend of mine throw it on a scanner and it said that the gem module was getting 10v and it needed 13v. Do you have any idea on whats going on? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the warranty expired earlier this year, since it was a three year or 36,000 mile warranty. Thanks again.

I have a 91 Taurus and frequent the site. A lot of the users are in the younger set, so be prepared for some of the language.
