Came across this, in another thread. Someone mentioned about, the pump being lifetime warranty...

Ive seen them recommended on other sites by knowledgeable people, and Clay has started carrying their tuning.

I had a Curtis Mathis television that was lifetime warranty - they went out of business because of warranty claims. To me, a lifetime warranty only means something when it's back by a huge entity - like Sears Craftsman or Snap-on. The "Joe and Bobs" of the world don't have the backing in the event a supplier sends them a bad batch of parts. One could end up with a lifetime warranty from an entity no longer in existence. So I wouldn't let the warranty distract me from any other product.

Here's my opinion on guarantees:

There are only so many times I want to change a part due to failure (labor costs not withstanding for those who don't do their own work), and I'm not really excited about catastrophic failures that litter the crankcase with lots of little metal shavings.......I'm not implying that this new pump offering is good or bad, but it's not stock.
