1978 F250 Leveling Kit Question

Hi just a quick question about a leveling kit for my 78 F250 4x4. I actually cant find a leveling kit for the front but I can find an ad-a-leaf for the rear. Since I have leaf springs in the front can I use a rear ad-a-leaf for up front?

If not can someone point me in the right direction for a front leaf spring leveling kit for the 78 F250 4x4?

Have you checked JBG, I see they have front add a leafs/

Yeah that's what I'm looking for. I googled it and found one at summit for 82.00
Can I reuse my u bolts or do I need longer ones?

ALWAYS use new U-bolts, they stretch and fatigue overtime, don't risk your life over $40 bucks....

Depends how many leaves you add....

I like to see at least 1/2" of exposed thread on the end of the U-bolt.

Ok great I'll probably get the next size up. I'm only adding one leaf to get 2 more inches up front.

But if you only need to go an inch or so, make some zero rate springs from scrap springs. Bolt these to the bottom of your spring pack just like a leaf spring.
