I just have a quick question. I read the archive posts and I know if i have 5 screw auto hubs i don't need a conversion kit. I just need the manual hubs. To check to see which hubs i have I just look at the center of the rim right? I went out and looked at what I always thought was just the plastic center cap and it has 5 screws, thats what I'm supposed to look at right? thanks in advance guys I know its kind of a dumb question, but I just want to make sure before i buy stuff and take anything apart.
Yes, the five screw hubs are good to go. You need to look at the hub itself. The metal ring that surrounds the 4x4 emblem on the hub has the screws you need to look at. I know I had three. Ive never seen the five variant, but they are out there.
well my truck has a small issue. on the right side theres a 6 bolt pattern. on my left is the stock 3 bolt. its kinda wierd but should i go both 3s or 6s?
Thanks
Tim
thanks guys. I sure its the 5 screw it looks just like that first website one. I linked a picture anyway. So to change them out I won't even have to take off my tire?
