my truck has speed density, and i want to add a new K+N intake and exhaust would tha be a problem? The K+N asks if you have mass air, and if not the price goes up like 100 dollars so im assuming that is ok, but i wasnt sure. Thanks
from what i understand, speed-density isn't affected as long as you don't change the total air volume going into the engine, since that's some sort of constant in the computer (i think). basically, what i've been told by Those That Know About Such Things is that air filters, ignitions and anything-after-the-heads is okay. i've read the MPG articles: i agree, not worth it.
WOW those were some interesting results, atleast on M.P.G. i dont think i will get the F.I.P.K. mainly because of gas milage, good lord it was terible. The insulating tape sounds like a good idea if only it didnt look so bad, anyone have any more visualy actractive ways of insulating the intake?
