MPG comparison

Is the SGII more accurate than the meter on the ceiling just wondering the SGII is showing more. I have been doing a lot more maint myself and the truck is running better what do you guys think

The SG2 should be pretty accurate if.... you enter exact miles and gallons, don't round up or down. As far as your factory readout, SG2 should be close.

If you drive pretty much the same route everyday, the lie-o-meter is pretty good. If you drive city, stop-n-go monday to friday, then tow a trailer for a couple hours on saturday they aren't gonna be close.

The sg2 seems to be more sophisticated in it's trip and tank statistical ability.
