engine bucks around 35-45 mph

I have a 2000 ranger with 3.0 6 cyl...also 5 speed manual transmission..the motor seems to "buck" between 35 and 45 mph..I thought it might be the fuel filter as I ran it out of gas once few months ago so I replaced it..I have also :
replaced spark plugs
replaced air filter
ran stp fuel injector treatment through it

there is a sticker near the front that says the timing, idle, and mixture cannot be adjusted...also the distributor cap cannot be replaced and there is no rotor inside of it..any ideas before I
have to pay some grease monkey to look at it?

Is it a constant bucking?? My '00 XLT 3.0 FFV started to miss under hard acceleration in that speed range too after a mechanic cracked the #1 plug and replaced it with a new one. What brand of plugs do you use??

I replaced my plugs with Motorcrafts and found that my #4 cyl plug was cracked and the gap on the old ones was way off. I disconnected the battery for 10-15 minutes and then followed the relearn procedure from the owner's manual. It doesn't have the miss anymore.

Try resetting the computer and see if that helps.

i disconnected battery again to reset cpu...it seems to be doing much better...need to drive it a little more yet..evidently it didn't accomplish anything when i reset it last week with the old plugs still in..haven't found any "re-learn" info in my 2000 ranger owner manual yet...now if i could just get rid of that clunking noise in my front end i might actually be happy with this truck..
only 60,500 on it

thanx dude & ya'll

The relearn procedure is under the battery section (don't have the manual in front of me).

I think you just start the truck and let it warm up to normal operating temperature and let it idle for one minute, turn on the A/C and let it idle for one minute and then drive it for 10 miles.
