Has anyone ever used any of the off brand no name parts you find on eBay? I have looked a a few and the sellers seem to have most if not all positive feedback but that doesn't really cover quality or performance of the item just the seller. If they are good parts they are definitely worth the sacrifice of not paying for a name if you don't really care like me. I am building a mud toy on a budget and can't spend several hundred or over a grand on major performance upgrades and used stuff for a 351 is hard to come by sometimes
in my humble opinion, even name-brand parts from reputable retailers are getting dicey as far as quality goes ... no-name parts from the internet ? no, thanks.
I have though about all those aspects but I have bought other things that are factory over runs and seconds they just don't put the name brand on and sell to another vendor to get rid of. Didn't know if any of those items might be something like that

It's possible this is the case with some stuff.
Maybe try out some lower dollar items first so you don't lose your a$$ too bad if the parts turn out to be cheap knock-offs or something.
I have had really good luck on ebay. I've bought a core support, tailgate and front bumper all from martins auto parts (seller) on ebay and they were the same quality/thickness as stock. Just got to watch out, check reputation, and email the seller before to be sure they have what your looking for and it's in stock. I've gotten headlights, taillights and a billet grille that were good quality too.
I've had great luck with O2 sensors, fuel pumps, factory and Wix filters, OEM water pumps, OEM calipers and master cylinders for various cars and trucks.
I haven't been unhappy with any of the purchases but I have only bought from people with great reputations and high sales counts.
