I think we're truly going to pay for it this winter. It was in the mid 20s Tuesday/Wednesday last week. Now, here it is the 17th of November and it's crystal blue skies and 81F outside the house.
Plus we didn't have a crazy hot summer either so I bet it'll be cold. Expecting quite a duck season out of it
Still around guys, just no internet down at the Bay, so not on the forum much
Arm is fine, went back to work 3 weeks ago and they are trying to kill me catching up with everything that has been let go while I was off..... Oh well, Mama needs a new pair of shoes
What? No. We were laughing with you, not at you. Everybody loves you Zack. If you recall several 7.3 owners graciously offered to tow you home.
Excuse me...I mistook the snicker for laughter. I think what it all boiled down to, had it just been me I would have been afoot...but since I had the boss in tow...we all know how that would have ended up if SWMBO was also a foot. Now had it been a 7.3L I would have taken one of them up on it without missing a beat...but since it's a 6.0L, it's used to the stress. Though I did get a really nasty stare from the lady in the H3 as well strolled through Alma on the way home.

Working well. Starts easy, runs great.... knock on wood. Changed the break in oil for the second time yesterday and shored up the little oil leak at the dipstick. All I have left on the list is R2 the boost gauge tubing that I broke, and replace a squeaky idler pulley. Should be G2G after that.
Oh...and wash it. Still pretty filthy from it's 10 month hiatus in the yard.

I could not, in good conscience, let a 7.3 tow you home. You have my cell #........

It would have been better than a ***-apart or a Duracrap...but at any rate I would have called you if we couldn't make it back. Shouldn't have to worry about that again for a long, LONG time. Got the updated (late '04 and newer) sticks in there and the fuel pressure is monitored every time the truck is started. Had a scare back in October...watched the fuel pressure go from 62-63 to 45 in about 8 miles on the I40 in Oklahoma. Pulled over to see if I might have blown an o-ring (serviced the truck the day before)...that was when I discovered the plug for the fuel pressure sending until was loose. Not sure how that happened...but everything is well now.
