Close enough! I was down there for my two weeks of reserves, I really liked it there!
I wish we could go someplace other than Ft. A.P. Hill, thats all we ever go, and Ft. Indiantown Gap................. I've heard of units goin to San Diego, Jacksonville, Daytona, Germany, Canada................ I WANNA GO SOMEWHERE!!!!!!!!! even deployment would be better than the B/S we do on weekends
We were pretty much able to go wherever, as long as we went to the ship every few years (Naval Reserve, USS George Washington) and had a sponsor at the base. I had a buddy stationed down at Jax that I was on active duty with. Good time!!
ahhhhhhhhhhh, see the Navy actually gets out and goes places, the Army could give a ***** less.................. I wanna get out and see the country, not just the same ol place, guess where we are goin for drill next weekend?????
Hmmmm..Let me guess..same place you went before?? I did have to go to the same place on drill weekends. I went down to Olathe, KS. But , they closed down the reserve center there, so, so much for being in the reserves! Hey, you know who we need down here? Phil! I'll have to see if he will stop in here!
