Thankful November '13 All Purpose Thread

As usual, your tireless chapter foreman is hard at work, bright and early.

Or he can't sleep.

Or he's feelin' guilty 'cause Pop has been kickin' us off the past 2 months.

Welcome to Noviembre!

Cute story to boot. http://gallery.mailchimp.com/f641390...31ee8-77633997

Pop's alive early this morning, and frying pancakes for dozens of Springer lovers here in Missouri.

Here's my wish to y'all for a happy November!

There's a sample sitting on my desk back home awaiting a trip to Indiana. I left on this trip with over 9K on this oil, and SHOULD have sent it before I left, but..........

We can make "elephants", but puppies take REAL culinary talent, that we don't have at 0630.

Traffic

Just for fun, here's a typical uncontrolled intersection on the outskirts of Aurangabad.

Good thing this guy didn't try a coast to coast run in India.
This guy in his Mercedes, avg'd 98 mph overall, with 100 mph avg while driving, with only 46 minutes stopped. It took him, just over 28 hours with a top speed of 158 mph.
No tickets!!!
Can you imagine?

With all the publicity that's getting, you gotta wonder why the guy doesn't have the authorities knocking on his door.

That's incredible. I'd really have to watch fluid intake on an adventure like that.... Or have a drainage system to the under carriage.

I think they will be having some face time with LEO. And, there are three conspirators. Conspiracy is an automatic felony upgrade.

But probably nothing federal, so the states that hosted this "event" will have to stand in line to prosecute.

Ok, the challenge is accepted, I will have to beat that 28 hour 50 minute mark. Someone get me a Ferrari.

The article does talk about bedpans used.
Not sure they wanted to elborate.

To Steve's point, how many cameras did they get videoed during this race to use for evidence? Then would it be a ticket or a full arrest?

The planning, leaving late evening and getting to Redondo Beach very late evening, all along having a full moon to help navigate, having front runners ahead, all must have had to been perfect to accomplish.

The other piece, getting a co-pilot days before, as a dealership customer, trusting them to drive over 100 mph without even knowing them?
That takes some more guts.
