2014 Problem

I went to check it today. They had it on the lift with the front tires off. Theyve removed the transmission and are trying to figure out exactly what happened. They dont have any updates yet but have my dad in a loaner. Seems they talked a little too big and cant give him a new truck quite yet. They are bending over backward to accommodate him by filing a grievance with Ford, getting him a suitable loaner, etc.
This truck came out of the box with a couple of oddities. The rear sensors werent working. The sun roof cover wouldn't close flush, and the steering wheel was out of alignment. One of those problems is understandable but all three on the same truck must be pretty rare. They fixed them all a few weeks ago without problem.
We buy quite a few fords out of this dealership, so we purchased this one without a test drive. Stupid, I know, but we needed to replace his 2010 immediately so he could get back to work. Make sure you take the time to test drive because we probably would have passed on this particular '14 for another one on the lot had we seen those small problems.
