Future meet plans

Hey guys I know im the youngin' in the chapter but can we plan a meet in the spring or maybe even in January or feb? I'm rebuilding my truck from the wreck and I would really love to drive it to a meet so yall can check it out. I would hate driving my dodge to a FTE chapter meet lol. I've almost got it all put back together. After that i'll have to paint it but it shouldn't take to much longer.

Here's a pic of before the wreck

It will be the same when its back together except it will have a 3 inch cowl hood and it will be clear coated not semi gloss.

Does that sound okay to y'all?

It's your truck, so if you like what you're doing We think it's great!

As far as the G2G goes, we don't care what you bring. The one on Saturday is a dual purpose deal. It's a G2G, but also it's an open house for my hotrod shop. C'mon down and hang out. Nobody here judges on what you drive. No biggie to show up in an "off brand". Besides, I'll have FOUR Ford trucks there, so I can cover a stray FTE member.

well thanks I really appreciate it. I won't be able to make it then, i'm in the ICU with my grandfather he had a heart attack. But as for bringing my vehicle I've put a lot of hard work in it so i'm proud of it so I would love to bring it when we have another meeting once it's finished.

Oh, sorry to hear that about your grand father. Family first. At the very latest, we'll be at the 4x4 Jamboree in June. That should give you plenty of time to get the Ford together.

It's at the Springfield Fairgrounds. A bunch of us usually show up. There's a good chance Earthquake will run in the mod bog this year, but I'm still waiting to see how it behaves after I get it running.

Alan - I think Earthquake is going to RULE the mud bog unless they make it a whole lot deeper...

There's more gtgs to come so don't worry about missing this one. I'l be driving my off-brand ride because one is in pieces and, unless I can cook up a really good reason that I need to, uses too much gas to justify it.

Hello and good morning Alan.

I am hopeful that you are doing alright and the back is not too bad today.

When do you think that you will open your shop for a G2G as is in this post?

I would enjoy this.

Take care.

Boon,

This event already happened a while back. His shop opening and the first time we saw EQ iii .

It would be cool to have another event when he gets Bandit running with the diesel, but its his shop and all! LOL! We sometimes have mini g2g 's where we have 3 or more members. Heck we do that without trying a lot. That is how I met RC at Alan's house.

Good afternoon Jeff

Perhaps there will be another late February or March. Old Man Winter has woke up and apparently with a vendetta. A lot of forecasters and the Farmer's Almanac, so I am told, predict a cold, hard winter. I do not mind the snow but not the ice or black ice. I will not drive under those conditions.

I was not able to work on the truck today because of the snow so I am making some Christmas presents out of wood. Overall, it has been a productive day.

What about you? Did you work on any trucks?

Take care and Godspeed!

Boon

It was great! Got only 3 things off my list, but it was worth it! Could have been more but I was a little chilled to take doors off or a fender with race track trim!

I have a set of fenders w/ race trac and dent chrome in great shape....ah and you get the FTE Mo chapter member discount. I have a set of doors too......

Next time (next weekend with Alan?) you are up there ya'll can stop by and Penny can show them to you. And see if they will work for you and they are already off the truck.

You can also get a peek of ol red.

PM me about the price.
