Exhaust upgrade after dpf delete?

I had 5 Star Tuning do a dpf and egr delete on my 2010 6.4. I'm still running the factory exhaust though, minus the dpf. I tow some with the truck, but nothing too heavy. For the most part it is my daily driver. With that being said, would it be worth it to upgrade my exhaust as well? I'm still learning about this all this stuff. Just wondering if driving the truck as I mentioned, would I see enough benefit to justify spending the extra $$ on the exhaust.

My flo pro straight pipe was under 400$, your gonna need at least the "delete pipe" which will take the place of the exhaust filter.

I don't think there is huge benefit going either way...

I've got the delete pipe in the place of the dpf. Everything else is still stock though. I didn't know if a larger diameter exhaust would open things up enough to see any noticeable gain in HP, mpg, etc. If the gains would only be minimal, I would just as soon put that money to use elsewhere. I see about $1600 in the not so distant future for a set of 35x12.50's.

If everything else is stock, I'd buy the tires then, unless your planning on making huge hp. A full 5 inch might get you lower egts, that would be the biggest benefit you would see.

Yeah get the 5" straight pipe, it would sound and look sick nasty. Come December, I will put a 5" straight pipe on my rig with the tuner. Like 2ndstroke said, it's good for opening things up a little bit and lowering EGTs.
