Is it worth changing gears? Like 3.73 to 4.10?

So for daily driving or pulling 12,000 pounds with 4.30 is better? What about mpg? And how much would it cost for 4x4 gears to be changed?

If not there, check on the pumpkin itself for a tag

By the way, put at least $200 in the Jar for even thinking of this mod

If you are looking for a towing truck by all means buy a jar and start filling it for a diesel. other than that i personally would prefer a gas truck. theyre easy to work on, and with decent gears they wind up like crazy. 5.4s are a great motor for a mud or sand toy. my stock 5.4 dominated the sand dunes when there were many similar diesels with mods that couldn't make it up test hill at silver lake sand dunes.

Nope, no towing (on a regular basis) but I just want it to be a little less sluggish and a little more "truckly" without just gutting the cat and running 5 inch pipes and a rebel flag (the South lost, get over it) on a pole off the rear bumper.

Then you need 4.10 gears, it'll give you the truckly less sluggish feel. Either that or 4.30 gears...
