Ok that worked and I can do it for one pic, but can not seem to get 2 or 3 added. I am not tech savvy to say the least, but when I go back to photobucket, and then try to do another image - I loose the thread I was posting or a new thread I started. How do I do two or three images on one post?
open a second tab for photobucket. That way you don't move of your posting page.
I click add pic, copy and paste code, hit enter to embed the pic. The hit enter to move the curser one space and repeat.
You can't upload pics off your computer. It must be hosted by a server like photobucket or snapfish, etc.
To MAX or one of the experienced members - I've up loaded two pics to my album & tried to insert one here. This is what I got but don't think it's here.
Please consider putting a complete, detailed, step by step instructions in ONE reply on how to do this.
I've tried to follow and garner from bit & piece info from previous posts in this thread above, but don't think I've got it... HELP, Please...'50's, John...
Important first to re-emphasis - you must have pics online somewhere. Just in/on your computer won't work. Here's the way it works for me - w/PC/Windows7.
Setup my FTE Photo Gallery by going to FTE 'Albums' section.Enter title, desc., etc. Select 'Upload Pictures', select 'Browse', then find &open first pic on/in your computer. I uploaded pics to my FTE Album, individually. I could only do a group of three, then had to reset upload button. The pics are now loaded online.
When you want to display pic(s) in forum or where ever onsite, open a new window to go there. So,now you'll have at least these two windows open during this session. Start doing post/reply/etc., and when you want to insert an image, go back to Album window & double click/open desired pic.
Scroll down below opened pic to find a box labled 'Picture URL'. Move cursor over box (don't select), box perimeter should highlight. Right click to display option box & then select 'Copy'. Then go back to thread/posting/reply window, click once just to right of blinking cursor, to insure you're in desired window.
What I had to do next was to hit 'Enter' a few times to'claim new space' for additional text or pics - otherwise I couldn't enter anything, text or pics, after/below my first pic. Then move cursor back to where you want your first pic, select the 'Insert Image' tool - the one with the two mountaintops icon. A 'ScriptPrompt' pop-up box will appear wanting image URL info.
Move you cursor into the open space of the 'http://' box. Right click to show option box and select/click 'Paste'. Then select 'OK' in image box. (there is no 'enter' box, not on mine) Your picture should then appear in your posting/reply input box where you wanted it.
You should have a blinking cursor & additional space below this first pic for additional text/pics.
This worked for me - your mileage may vary.
With good luck, good notes, and three or four attempts you might be able to stumble across an acorn. '50'sFever, John.

Well, Max- it's had a fair refurbishment from the '90's - a semi-restoration. But, she's mine now & I love her and will tend to it. I have a little more info in the '48 - '56 Forum. It's a long bed, Chrysler frt end, 302/C4, '73 Torino leaf/drums rearend and handles/drives like a new one- very smooth/tight. As my other post states, it's one of two I got in deal. The other is a shortie, southern Arizona roughfie and some pics of it are over there also. I'm having consternations about what to do with this Express tailed enigma. Please feel free to contribute to that discussion.
Thanks, john
