Looks like I may have a bad EGR cooler on my 2005 Excursion with 94k miles.
Looking at the IPR Gen2 delete kit (unless any better suggestions). I am thinking that I should also replace the oil cooler (Ford # 3c3z6a642ca ?). Anything else that needs to be done since I will have the engine tore down?
What about?
Stand pipes/dummy plugs
Turbo oil line
Turbo clamps
New belt
Boots
Any insight would be great. Don't want to do unnecessary stuff, but also want to do what improves longevity and reliability.
I have an Edge Insight. My delta runs about 6-7 degrees. I had the coolant flushed about 600 miles ago and installed a coolant filter.
This weekend I had significant amount of white smoke on start up and the first 10 mins of driving. Then no more. Slightly less coolant in degas bottle with no evidence of overflow. No codes at all on Insight...

Park nose down overnight, check under the egr valve for wetness, if its the egr cooler. Monitor ficm voltages too.
