Hi there, I am in the process of getting a new truck. Currently it has a transmission fluid leak. I was going to temporarily fix it with Transmission Fluid Stop Leak. So far, it's worked for me when I temporarily fixed my transmission fluid leak in my 1991 Ranger when I needed to drive it everyday and it needed a new front seal and fixed the leak I had in my brothers Dodge Intrepid when I put stop leak power steering fluid in it. But I'm not to knowledgeable about Stop leak weather its Bwano or No Bwano for the vehicle. Thank You!
Stop leak may stop the leak for a while, but most types swell the seals and only last for so long. After that it'll probably leak worse.
I'm a fan of a product called AT-205. Recently I've only been able to find it on Amazon. It actually conditions seals instead of swelling them. It's fine for seals, and won't cause damage.
I've used it in engines, steering, and even smaller things like my 2 & 3/4 ton hydraulic jack.
Most stop leak products do more harm than good. They may stop the leak but can cause more serious issues. Especially stop leak products for head gaskets or coolant systems. A product for legging along a vehicle until you can get another vehicle. Even if an additive says it is ok with oils/fluids does not mean it cannot have negative effects.

Thanks for answering my questions. But I know that it wouldn't stop the leak but I forgot to mention for cleaning the injectors.
Yes, it should work for cleaning injectors. I've had better luck cleaning the fuel system with a small dose of acetone in the gas. I like around a 420:1 gas/acetone ratio right now. That's almost exactly 3oz of acetone to 10 gallons of gas.
I have found that Marine Stabil does a pretty good job at cleaning.(carbon deposits in outboard motors cylinder gone after using it) I run some through my truck every now. I use it in my boats and every other small engine so I have it around anyway.

Yep, it's decent stuff. I also run it in my boats and small engines. Haven't run it in vehicles yet. The marine Sta-bil is a better deal because it's basically just twice as concentrated as the other Sta-bil and they dyed it differently (marine is dark blue, and regular is red).
If your determined to try a tranny stop leak product, maybe consider a high mileage tranny fluid, like the Valvolene MaxLife High Mileage recipe, or the like. It's seal conditioner type & amount will likely be more friendly to tranny & power steering seals, gaskets, plastic, rubber, composit & metal parts. http://www.valvoline.com/products/co...ith-stop-leak/
^ + 1 on Techron Concentrate Plus, along with Fords daily >3500 rpm 2-3 mile blow-it-out during the treated tank, as being a good fuel system, intake & combustion chamber tidy-upper!!!!
Well, I put a bottle of bars leaks tranny stop into my C4. It was just leaking from every gasket and seal. Bad enough that it was making me mad. And decided to try it.
After I put it In I pressure washed the underside of the truck and got it pretty clean. The bars has significantly slowed if not stopped the leaks. It's only been a couple days. I'm not too worried about if it leaks later. With any luck I'll be swapping in my AOD before that happens.
