Well I got the motor in the truck with the motor mount brackets built. I had to notch the sides because they hit the mounts. The factory transmission cross member worked with the AOD perfectly and I didn't even have to drill holes. Oh and I finally caught my wrench thief. So if I get off early enough this week I hope to get the steering shaft and brakes all plumbed in. Maybe hear it run this weeked?
Rain rain go away sorry venting some anger weather has been preventing work on the truck and my daily driver has a strong possibility to be sold in a couple of days
Well its been awhile ive been quite busy putting the truck back together today i did some sound deadening and layed in the rubber floor mat. I got my floor mat from CG here in socal and now know it does not cover the whole floor ..... kind of a bummer. No fear though i rigged a solution apparently harbor frieght carries a rubber mat for use in tool boxes it works great not the same pattern but very moldable even though not as sturdy as the floor mat its covering low traffic use areas. ill post some pics later but just to keep you guys up to date.
Also side note does anyone know how to adapt a ford power steering pump from a 80's mustang to a 2011 crown victoria rack and pinion?
I have the dimensions for the mounts I used posted in this forum I have a 79 column just cut the flange off and order the 36 spline I believe from cpp the d rod and the ford rack triangle to d rod and your set
