I think I may have found a fast route on doing the motor mounts for the 302 on the crown Victoria frame. Backdraft Parts - 302/ 351W Motor Mount Assembly sells this motor mount and it might just do exactly what I need any input on this would be awesome.
UPDATE so I had a offer I couldn't refuse so the project got accelerated really fast ill just let the pics speak for themselves. Also had the rear axle flipped while the shop was at it. Im looking at putting these rims on it since I can get a set of 4 for 250 with new tires or used tires and 125. They remind of the old school ones with the spinner on them which ford sells. Will keep everyone informed how it goes have a 4 day weekend this weekend and im hoping to get the frame and firewall cleaned up and painted and the 306 and aod in wish me luck.
Well got the rims tonight 250 for all 4 with damn near new tires tomorrow ill be putting them on and seeing what the final ride height is going to look like. Still looking at what the motor mounts will look like.
So here is a pic of the motor mounts im using and the adapters I had built in order to make this all work for a 302. Im extremely happy how all of this is coming. If anyone has questions feel free to ask im also including a diagram of how I had these built. I will take pics tomorrow showing the motor in place with the transmission today is a busy day 9er game and GF anniversary. Well it wouldn't let me upload a bmp file so if want dimensions I can email them to you.
