My existing vinyl bench seat back frame has two broken ribs. And, the vinyl is all messed up. So, I went to the JY and found a new bench seat (cloth). I was so excited to find one in the correct color (gray) without any tears or stains. I was so excited, I forgot to pull back the backing to check if the seat back frame was cracked.
I got home and tore it apart to clean itm and one of the ribs is cracked. Stupid me for not checking.
Anyways, I figure that I'm upgrading (from two cracked ribs to one cracked rib)! But, is there anyway of fixing this broken rib? It looks like the ribs are spot-welded to the outer metal frame. It doesn't look like much material to weld...
