My wife has the usual Apple trinkets. iPod, Iphone 4 and the iPad. She wa wondering if she can hook up the iPhone to the iPad. Is this possible and if so, where would I find the cord with apple connections at both ends?
The first question is what is she wanting the two connected for?
If she is trying to use the iPhone as a wireless modem and get on the Internet on the iPad you should be able to do this wirelessly. I have that set up on my work phone. That also has to be "turned on" through the cellular provider (addition to your service) and there is a menu to turn on in Settings (personal hotspot). It is then like a wireless network at your house - the phone just does the connecting to the Internet.
I don't have a direct answer for your wire question, though. I do not see an application that would require tying the two together, that isn't to say there isn't one.
What is she trying to do? There is probably a way to do what she wants.
Ditto to this. Not possible physically, but there are many ways to connect wirelessly, either through built-in functionality, or through apps, depending on what she's trying to accomplish.
